Privacy Policy
In short: The WebImage-Pro plugin works entirely locally and sends no data anywhere. This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads no content from third-party servers (no Google Fonts, no embedded videos). Only the technically necessary server log data is processed.

2. The Photoshop plugin
The plugin WebImage-Pro works exclusively on your computer. It does not transmit any images, settings or usage data to me or to third parties, and it does not use analytics, telemetry or network connections of its own. It stores its settings (for example target folder, presets, language) in a local settings file in the plugin’s data folder on your computer. You can delete these settings at any time with “Reset plugin” or by removing the plugin.
To work, the plugin asks Photoshop for these permissions: access to the local file system (to read your source files and to write WebP and HTML files to the folder you choose), the clipboard (to copy the generated code) and opening files or links (to open the generated HTML file in your browser). Purchase, licensing and installation are handled by the Adobe Marketplace and the Creative Cloud desktop app; Adobe is responsible for that data processing.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the website, the web server automatically processes information your browser transmits:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- requested page or file and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (the page you visited before)
- browser type, version and operating system
This data is technically required to deliver the website and to ensure the stability and security of the server. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and error-free operation). The data is not combined with other data sources. The host deletes or anonymizes the log data after a short time. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with STRATO.
4. Contact by email
If you email me, I process your details (email address, name, content of your message) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (requests relating to a contract or pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering). The data is deleted once your request is resolved and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Cookies, analytics and external content
This website uses no cookies and no analytics tools, and it embeds no external fonts, scripts or media. Links to the Adobe Marketplace lead to a website of Adobe Inc.; Adobe’s privacy policy applies there once you click the link.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). Simply email me to exercise these rights.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the German state where you live or where I am based.
7. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol and “https://” in the address bar.
